That's why i think that Visa Officers have got mind of their own, sometimes decisions seems so illogical. There may be something that VO feels a weak link to come back to home country. And rejection after waiting 40 days is disheartening.

Is your application is in Eligibility review ? I applied on 27 April online, and eligibility review started 12 may, and nothing since then.

You agent may be fooling you, i heard a case where the person got visa but agent said that he was refused and asked "if he can arrange some money then he can make it approved as he know some inside person". It happened in Punjab. So beware of such things and if they requested your passport then...

What you applied for ? When applied? What purpose ? what documents? Then only we can make estimate as why it happened. Yeah you can re-apply anytime and can travel other countries if you have visa.

This is just automated reply and it has nothing to do with Approval/Rejection. There are many members of your time line who are still waiting, so don't lose hope and wait. Even by mailing there's no effect on processing speed. They do in their own way and not bothered by anything else.

If eligibility is passed then chances are bright for approval. In next 5-7 working days decision can come.

There are many applicants from April last week still waiting for decision.In april processing time was 18 days and its 22 days now. So have patience and pray.

Is it a trend going ?, like who soever applied after 20 April will be refused. No matter what; At least 16 cases i know, 4 from my close family got rejected. All applied in April last week. Everything seemed good as per documents. Still rejected with usual refusal reasons.

Apart from good documents and lot of prayers nothing much can be done. i have many cases where unemployed singles with sub par funds get visa in first attempt and other side many with cutting edge documentation get refused. My uncle got refusal in just 10 days, applied online on 1st may 2018...

Just an update, Applied :1st may online Refused :11th may. My Aunt Uncle and their son applied for TRV on 1st may 2018. All 3 applications got REFUSAL today evening, received mail at 9:40 EDT. Reason given "Non Legitimate business purpose in Canada" even they never mentioned any thing related...

When we apply online, where we can upload documents like marriage certificate, kids Birth cert or school id. Family info form is just a form, then in which section we shd upload those documents. And what about documents like JOB salary slips, etc, or these have to be uploaded in proof of funds...

Refused in just 10 days. Recently i have seen cases getting refused in less then 2 weeks, don't know what they are upto. Well if you know what you doing then go ahead and apply. Now u have experience and now you know what went wrong. Take 2-3 days and think what additonal you can do. Try once...

Only Travel history as reason for refusal seems strange. It seems they were just looking for excuse to refuse

If she has old passport and it has validity then she can travel. But cannot travel with new passport without stamp. For USA its possible, just carry old passport with new one, unfortunately not for canada.
