2 people got their application approved and passports stamped this week and last week. Their passports were received by IRCC on April 27th. It is taking a solid month to process passports.

If you are thinking 400$ insurance is a bad move then maybe you are not in a position to buy a gas guzzler muscle car. Also insurance prices usually go down once you start driving so don't worry too much.

Great news congratulations, looks like your passport was received on April 27th. Mine is on May 5th so there is a week gap. Hopefully I will hear something this week or early next week.

I agree 100%, original passports submission needs better timelines and communication. We have signed 2 consent forms relinquishing our rights to hold anyone accountable.
