Do you mean you did a medical exam for SuperVisa or something else before and now they are asking you again?
Or do you mean you have done the exam already and ECAS or My CIC Account shows you passed?

If it's the latter then you are done with medical. No need to do anything like Yulia said.

S.19(1) and S.15(1) are markers for security. You will see that on few pages in ATIP notes. It means some information from that page was redacted. However, if you have a FULL PAGE or most of a half page blank it means security was finished (according to another thread). Do you have a full page blank with S.15(1) or S.19(1) written on top?

Just to elaborate on this in case someone cares, S.15(1) is specific of Canada's defense and international matters and info will not be shared for one of these three reasons:

• the conduct of international affairs;
• the defence of Canada or any state allied or associated with Canada; or
• the detection, prevention or suppression of subversive or hostile activities.

And S.19(1) is for personal information for example someone's SIN might not show on GCMS notes because they didn't consent on the ATIP request application (or because the officer didn't see their conesent given which is the most likely case with these people being so disorganized).

Hello mnsky...did you heard anything yet or no...i got medicals done for my parents on 28 Feb...i checked with doctor office...the receipionist told me that we might get a letter from ircc for additional test ...as my father is diabetic but his sugar level is under control with medicine ..i m guessing may be it's serum creatine..

i got request for additional documents for my parents .they asked to submit the documents before 28 December 2018.I gathered all documents (PCC,medical,Schedule A ,travel history and proof of relationship with sponsor)

We mailed all the documents instead of uploading .The medical passed and the online status shows extra documents received.

However on online application ( i linked ) it says your action required.Today while checking for any update i finally saw where i could upload the documents.its says overdue.

should i upload them although i sent them mail.

seniors please help.this is for London visa office.

They probably did receive and don't need it again but like Yulia said "London? sure" upload it too. It's just that the system is still waiting to receive them but officers as people have received and probably don't need it again.

Uploading again won't hurt and the message will go away.

MyCIC Account Status Updated on March 8, 2019 (no email received yet):

• We have requested a medical exam. We will send you a letter or email with details.
• The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

I just don't understand why they don't request all the documents at the same time. Does anyone know what could be the next steps, once we receive the medical request and complete it?

The Visa Officer indicated that there is insufficient evidence to demonstrate the relationship between me and my parents.

Hello,
I just don't understand why they don't request all the documents at the same time.

You don't understand because you are not a rocket scientist.

This is probably the new change in your account: "We are processing your background check." which is important because it means all else is PASSED and they are doing security check now after which is passport request hopefully. However, if your file is in London visa office you will have another 6-8 months of waiting for security check to pass because they are turtles.
