First of all, thank you so much over the past couple months for your kind help and advice on my previous threads. I do come to you with another question, however, I hope you don't mind!
At the end of July, this year, more specifically July 31st, 2018, I've submitted my application for PR Spouse-Sponsorship along with an application for an Open Work Permit. CIC received it on August 1st, 2018. They've given me an Application No. that I've linked to my account, and I've been following the updates online since. On October 30th, 2018, they asked me to go through a medical exam, so I did the following day and have completed that.
Question 1
I read a lot about people mentioning an AOR. On August 30th, 2018, almost a month later, I received an email stating "Dear X, this confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship on 2018/08/01 on behalf of the following family member(s): X" (x being the names of me and my common-law partner) + some more info as to "What Happens Next?" "When should I contact CIC?" and an application number.
Q: Is this the acknowledgement of receipt people talk about?
Question 2
As mentioned before, I've received an application number for my Permanent Residency application, but I have not received an application number or any confirmation regarding the OWP application that I've submitted (and paid) alongside the PR application.
Q: Is this normal? Will I not receive a seperate Application No. for the OWP application and will it be included with my PR application, or will I hear from it later? It's been 3 months now (since sending in the PR&OWP applications, 2 months since the August 30th mail from question 1.) and I haven't heard anything from that yet.
