quick question those who gave Finger prints in Toronto GTA, where can I give fingerprints, it is not service Canada that it is to submit, RCMP FP, can anyone let me know where to give? list is giving me third party providers not RCMP itself. Thanks

My journey: Study Permit → Work Permit → PR (2023) → Citizenship Application (Submitted: 22 June'25 | AOR: 23 July'25).

My tracker went live yesterday: all four stages “In Progress” except the Test and Ceremony (“Not Started”). FP status isn’t shown, seems you get an email if it’s needed.

I gave fingerprints in 2020 for my Work Permit, valid for five more years. Has anyone been asked for FPs again for citizenship despite valid biometrics?

Assuming all goes well, the next thing I should hear from IRCC is the email notification for the Test?! Please correct me, if otherwise.

The FP asked for citizenship is not any usual biometrics I guess, it is something that RCMP check to see if your fingerprints in their database for any activity. I could be wrong though.

We had it with an accredited RCMP agency here in London, ON. You can choose from the providers nearest your location.

Almost same situation, we gave biometrics 2021 for Student & OWP and was not asked during PR in early 2023. However, those who applied mid 2023 were asked for biometrics (talking about our friends not sure with others). We applied for citizenship and got a FP request I was thinking maybe because we didn't give it for PR. But maybe it is different since it's not taken from Service Canada, more of security reason? Probably.

it is not necessory that every one will must receive FP request. But most applicants now a days receiving. I also received next day of AOR meanwhile I am istill n 10 yeas validity period.

Also haven’t got it. Given you, me @Reddy2770 are all around June 20 submission and no AOR I feel this is just our batch got unlucky.
