Hi
I and wife are PR, inviting parents to visit for 2 weeks. Do we need to attach our lease agreement? Or can we attach the utility bill instead?
Do we really need to attach those documents? I am concerned beacuse of the following scenario:

"I kept my mailing address the same for almost 1.5 years after landing in canada for health card, phone, cra, bank etc just to receive all the documents in one place and didn't want to keep on changing address frequently, but my actual residence was different.
I applied for my parents visa and mentioned my address as the above mailing address, also my employment letter and other documents shows residence at mailing address and not the actual residency address, as just wanted to make sure to receive all documents at one place, though visa was refused on general grounds that won't leave and so and so
Now i am applying for a parents' visitor visa again. i changed my mailing address to my residency in all the documents, and will apply giving new address and uploading a lease agreement that dates back to the previous 2 year, including the time when I applied first time for a parent.

is that going to be a problem in the visitor visa applciation for parents? what can i do? I wasnt misrepresenting it's just wanted to keep it the same mailing address everywhere"

PLEASE ASSIST. SHOULD I WRITE A LETTER OF EXPLANATION, OR SHOULD I JUST ATTACH THE LEASE OR SHOULD I NOT ATTACH ANYTHING?

If applying for a TRV, they are the ones showing their own funds, ties to return and travel history. You can write a letter of invitation to say that they will stay with out. Your employment, bank, health care etc are not relevant to their application. Their residency address is where they live, not where you live. They cannot have a Canadian mailing address. They don't live or work in Canada.

Yes, but in previous application i mentioned my mailing address as my residence address and in invitation letter it was mentioned that they are going to stay there that's what is bothering me

Unrelated note but having all your information with the wrong address is not a good idea. Police often use your driver’s license and health card information to contact a loved one. Many MDs/hospitals also still send things via the mail. One or my doctor’s secretary was not prepared for my level of excitement when they finally got MyChart.

You should not have done that in the first application. Their mailing and resident address is where they live, not where you live. Nothing they can do about it now but when they apply, they put the correct address.

So I should not submit the lease agreement in that case, Should i submit the latest utility bills to prove my residency? What about letter of explanation and lease agreement?

I have updated all the address now, actually people told me to keep the mailing address one as to avoid changing it frequently nothing else

Am i thinking way too much? Will this count as a misrepresentation? As it does not impact the decision of the officer based on address?
Please help I am anxious

Your lease and utility bills are not relevant to them. You can include in letter of invitation that you rent xx with the address. Utility bills don't prove parents will return. It is their address in the application, not yours. It is not misrepresentation but shows that you want parents to stay and not leave. They have a refusal so you need to address reasons for past refusal. Don't overthink it.
