wondering if it's really IRCC slowing down till after elections. vancouver office especially has been depressingly slow

That could very well be true, who knows? If that's the case, the May must be the final month for us.

Is there anyone waiting for oath invitation after LPP shows completed on tracker March 18 or before.?

LPP Done: Mar.5th, 2025.
Oath Status: Not started.

Primary office: Vancouver.
Secondary office: Niagara Falls.
Events office: Hamilton.

What would help in this case to get the Oath ceremony scheduled? Anything we can do to push it: Webforms, email to processing offices etc.

Hi folks, submitted GCMC request in March (between 3 and 7) and still waiting for results.

Did a follow up request using ATIP email and received the response today. Did anyone experience the same? What it could be?

Congratulations! No you don’t have to wait for the certificate. You can go online and register to vote

I have a passport reference number for my application by mail from the US now. They charged my card yesterday. It says they will not update the status until it ships, which may be 20 business days from receipt. I'll update here when it prints/ships.

I filed my citizenship application on 24th Oct 2024 and background verification done on 16th Dec 2024. Since then i am waiting for next steps. I called IRCC a week ago to check on the status , however they checked my file and said no additional documents required at this time and asked me to continue monitor my email for test invitation with no ETA mentioned. Is anyone on similar boat ? Do you know why they are taking so long ?

Unless you're in Calgary, you're probably not getting invited to the passport pilot; that's the only office I've seen doing that so far.

Requested GCMS from CBSA (it was faster than IRCC for me) for @WifeOfUSProgrammer. November AOR with test/background complete since 2/18 with no LPP or oath yet.

Are least you have LPP. My wife is test and background complete for over 2 months without LPP.

Same, LPP in progress for my wife and 2 minor kids since 4 Dec.
