I need somebody who applied and got positive answer for visitor visa for dependants of refugee (protected person) and if this person wants to share advices or tips.
My family (husband and daughter) applied but it was denied. We are thinking on re-apply but need some advices becase we are afraid of another negative answer.
Thanks in advance for share your experience.

I don't want you to be disappointed, but from what I read in the forum it is so difficult for them to get a visitor visa. It is better to do enough search before they apply again.
I hope that your PR application will be processed soon. I know that it has been a long time since you were separated.

Be patient sister.

It's just a matter of time before your reunion.

Impossible, since they appears as dependent on gcms and will be processed when you submit your pr application

With some PR applications, it is taking around 1.5 years but for most PR applications it is taking 2 years or sometimes more.
Maybe it is a good idea if you could meet temporarily in some other 3rd country.
But sister, you never know what may happen, maybe IRCC can take some action to expedite the PR process..

Have faith, and have patience, and think positively. You have gone a long distance already. It is just few more steps until you all reunite again.

You can certainly try but it will likely be quite difficult. You should have strong ties to show you will return home, sufficient funds, etc. for your best chance of approval.

Unfortunately, I applied twice and got rejected twice for the same 2 reason. They have more ties to canada than my home country are not bonified visitors. I am not sure that they would go back at the end of their visit.
