Follow the instructions, ignore your friend. Online application instructions are indeed different than paper.Hello all,
Do I need to upload all pages of my international passport for the 5 years of my eligibility period?
The application clearly states bio data page is what is needed, but a friend told me to upload all my pages as she did that when she was applying for her and her family (though they did paper application). Mine is online application.
Please help.
Hey man nice to see a familiar name! I believe we got our PRs around the same time. I’m wondering for time spent as a temporary resident, did you put ‘worker’ for the time after you applied for PGWP and were on implied status?I just submitted mine and it felt shockingly easy, especially after the intensity of a PR application. My opinion is they do the most vetting during PR anyway, so they just want to make sure you haven't done anything since getting your PR that would disqualify you for citizenship. I just answered the questions and provided files where they asked. Unless they later request more info, I am personally deciding not to worry about it.
If you have travelled outside the Canada significantly during the last 4 years, better to upload all pagesHello all,

It's entirely up to you. As an established resident, you'd primarily need a PR card to board a plane back to Canada. If you don't plan to travel at all, no issue. If you're applying now, based on the 8-11 month processing time, you might be without a PR card for a couple of months. In Canada - doesn't matter at all.1. My PR status is Expiring on Sept 2025 and the current processing time for citizenship is 8 months so let's say if I finish and submit my application by end of April 2025. Do I also need to renew my PR card post expiry while I am waiting for my citizenship application?
The only times/dates that matter are when you left/entered Canada.2. Also while mentioning the dates for the travel history outside of Canada do we need to mention the dates as per the passport immigration stamps or should they be as per the flight ticket dates?
My understanding is yes but check the instructions.3. For the language requirements I am submitting my IELTS General test report these test results are from July 2019 does anyone know if that would work?
In the past they have sent requests to pay any unpaid amounts, esp if it happens around time of fee increase. I'd wait for that. It may be they'll let yours proceed on the the basis that you paid the amount in good faith prior to the fee increase.Note: I paid fees on march 29 for $630 and uploaded that recipt while submitting on April 5.
I came to know citizenship fees increased now to $649.
I dont know what will happen to my application now.
any idea ppl ? will it be returned or will they provide some link to pay remaining fees.
