Received Permanent Residence Portal (PR Confirmation) email today. The same email was sent to Sponsor and Principle Applicant. Does anyone know who needs to reply to IRCC with the details?

I think the PA should reply. That's what we did

I am also curious about that. I would assume only PA and accompanying family members if sponsor is Canadian citizen.

I believe my lawyer sent P1 and P2, but I am not sure at the moment.

One question - since ircc call center was closed hence asking here:
the IRCC letter attached in the P1 email has the name and UCI# of the sponsor on it. Was IRCC asking for the personal info of the sponsor or the principle applicant?

yes, I remember we only have one UCI, study permit and work permit all have same number of UCI.

My lawyer sucks, he let me put first name on the potal 1 email. but my passport shows my last name first!!!! I gonna be in trouble right? When I receive my card. the name gonna be different with my passport. Also, Ecopr. And my lawyer ask me the last invoice let me send money now. Should I reply Potal 1 email again?

No need to overthink. I replied `Firstname Lastname` on my own P1 email 2 years back even its showing as `Lastname, Firstname` on my passport. Nothing happens.
Also I replied P1 email yesterda with the wrong most recent entry date and location to Canada simply because I missed those. I just sent another email with corrections

With my reply to P1, my PR card is showing

Without knowing whether its the correct order, I have crossed the boarder 10+ times with it, never had an issue returning to Canada.

Hi everybody,

I applied for PR on June 13th 2024. My sponsor just got an email titled Permanent Residence Portal (PR Confirmation). This email seems to ask for some basic information (e.g., name, eye colour, height, email, etc.) from me (the principal applicant) in order to have access to the PR Portal. However, I am confused why IRCC sent this email to my sponsor and not to me directly. Is that common?
