How many days did IRCC give you to submit spouse documents?

The letter said 30 days. But online in the application window it gave us 60 days.

Hello. It seems you are getting married before landing, so I suggest you let IRCC know after your marriage on Jan. 2024 and before you use the COPR. IRCC will need to update your COPR, evaluate your spouse and issue your spouse a COPR if she is accompanying. If you leave with COPR stating that you are single, it will be a problem for you and your spouse. Need to have correct COPR details when entering Canada and all of your dependents, including spouse, should have been declared.

Note that if you get married after landing with a COPR stating you are single, you will have a different (possible longer/more complicated) process sponsoring your spouse's PR afterwards.

Inform IRCC after your marriage. There are a lots of threads here on How to include spouse post marriage to a PR application including post COPR.

My situation is a bit dicey. My COPR is expiring ending of next month and ircc has not gotten back to me since I notified them about my change in marital status(2 weeks ago).

I can’t land with the old COPR as it carries “single”.
Will I have to start over If my COPR expires?
Any info will be appreciated .

Mine was very similar case.My marriage was on feb 23rd and ppr expiry was march 31st .
as long as you inform them you are on safe side i think.

*Query: Adding spouse ti application after COPR has been received before landing.*

Please guys, is there anyone with London as their CPC visa office added their spouse after they’ve received COPR and their eligibility review completed?

I got my COPR 13th Feb, set to expire 27th December.

I got married May 18th and updated IRCC via webform May 27th.

Till date, I’ve made several calls, sent 3 emails, raised about 4 more webforms and sent a physical letter and I’m yet to get a response.

There’s been acknowledgment to my webforms via email and even my IRCc tracker on May 29th has a log of “we’ve received your enquiry” but my application remains closed and so I am just playing the waiting game.

Please, if anyone (especially with London as your visa office) have similar experience and became successful, please help me!

Hi everyone. My COPR expires on 25th May 2025, I recently got married on 28th March and informed IRCC immediately in 2-3 days after the wedding. I sent the first webform just informing them about my status change because i did not have the marriage certificate with me, it takes time to get marriage registered in India. In the 2nd webform, I attached my wedding photos and my spouse's passport details. Both times I got the same response. I am really worried now and not sure what to do? Have they changed the rules or something? Can i not add my spouse to my application anymore, do i land with my single COPR which is valid till 25th May? Its confusing. I tried calling IRCC but couldn't get through them. Please someone advise.
