Hiya again! So how do recommend we ensure that the attached letter after oath ceremony indeed reaches on time, doesnt get lost, etc.? Thanks!
I recommend you send it by web form (the option that says "upload documents for your application" or whatever). IN ADDITION to following instructions given to you by the clerk, and IN ADDITION to instructions in the e-certificate emails.

The directions for the email subject/contents differed between the clerk and the email.

The web form gave me the most certainty, because the IRCC contact centre could see it already in GCMS, but they could not see my emails, since they hadn't been read and entered.

These are just my recommendations and not based in IRCC law or policy, but definitely the web form gave me confidence that it had been "postmarked" as within the required timeline. I don't know if they gave me my certificate based on my emails or the web form.

They never replied to either attachment email, nor did they reply to my emails asking questions without attachments. They just ghosted me, but I'm a citizen with a certificate, so whatevs.

The tracker is back for me as well. Physical presence and language skills have been completed.
Waiting on the rest so hopefully not too long before I get the oath email
Hi everyone, so my PP and language were marked completed. Now I have BG check and prohibition in progress and ceremony not started. I’m wondering if there might be an issue receiving my fingerprints. I know the RCMP did something wrong (new employee) because they called me
and asked me to come back two weeks after the first attempt and do them again due to a mistake from their end.

how long does it usually take for that to update? I called IRCC last week and they said they haven’t received them so how do I know if the RCMP did actually send it and there wasn’t any issues?

Usually within a week they send them out. Depends on where they’re being sent for delivery time. Maybe just do them again in case?

aren’t they supposed to be sent electronically? At least that’s what I was told but on the first time the original copy was mailed to me instead and that’s why they called me back to re-do them. They gave me a piece of paper that they says it’s a proof that they have been sent electronically but I’m not really sure I fully understand the process. Does IRCC get a mailed copy or an electronic copy? Do I trust the new employee did it correctly or do I call again ‍♀

IRCC gets a mailed copy. That’s why your instructions have a name and address.

I’d just go get your fingerprints done again. IRCC will have it updated within 2 weeks probably and your BG will probably be marked complete, based on others’ timelines.

You can call ircc and ask if your fingerprints have been received by them. That piece of paper usually has a DCN (Document control number), keep that handy during the call. It can take 4 weeks from when you gave the fingerprints if you are not in Vancouver. Have seen that timeline to be 2-3 weeks for those giving fingerprints in Vancouver.

If the background check has been completed since January and the test was also done at that time, why hasn't the LPP been cleared yet? Vancouver office
BG and Test have nothing to do with LPP. It could take 1 day to 3+ years; these are two different things. Yes, Prohibition is correlated with BG, but the other two are not.

your best bet is ordering your gcms notes. it could be checking your physical presence, lots of travel, it could just be in a queue waiting to be reviewed, you could keep on speculating. But also as you know vancouver has been extremely slow for a lot of applicants
