IMM5532 - Part C #7 People who know about your relationship

On form IMM 5532, Part C Question #7, there’s a table with 5 spaces to write the names of people who know about your relationship. One of the columns on this table asks for the date that the person met your partner.

He has talked to my mom quite a lot over the phone so I’m listing her name there, as well as my husbands friends who I’ve met.

However, my husband has never been to my country yet, so he hasn’t met any of my friends or family yet, however they all know about him and our marriage. I’m including screenshots of social media posts and messages to prove this. My question is, do the people you list in the table in Question 7 need to actually know your partner themselves, rather than just know ABOUT your partner?

On my application none of my family had met my wife in person. So I had 3 of my family members (my sister and two cousins) write a letter saying that they are aware of the releationship.

To be honest when I was doing my application I was advice by an immigration consultant that you should put when they meet in-person so if they haven’t met in-person I don’t think you should put them on it

That may have made sense years ago, esp pre-covid, but now - just note that they met on-line i.e. zoom or whatever.

Ok but like I said I was advice so u can be absolutely right so go ahead and add them and I do think there is a column that ask where they met so there u can say zoom calls

The question is to list people who "know" about the relationship, not whether they've met them in person. List all the people who are aware that have some significance to you......family, close friends, his family.
