Hello, My name is Priyash and I have already gotten my passport stamped with Letter of Introduction and other essential documents like acceptance letter, proof of funds, IELTS and many much more. I will be arriving during middle of August for my September intake program for 8 months in Conestoga College Doon Campus.

The problem or dilemma I am facing right now is that of the point in which if the border security officer requests for an address proof or questions where would I be staying during point of entry questioning, should I provide the address of my temporary stay as proof or how should I answer this question. I have chosen and reserved spots in multiple rental sharing accommodations that I would have a physical tour and decide upon which one to move in immediately within a week from the AirBnB or Hotel.

Therefore if the situation comes up to the point where the officer is requesting for a proof or questions where will I be staying in Canada during my studies, what should I say / provide as I am booking an AirBnB / Hotel room for an initial week or two till I toured my choices and move into one immediately ?

Thanking Everyone in Advance
Priyash

I used a hotel booking confirmation with my name and address on it at the airport, and the officer was fine with it—didn’t ask for anything else.

I showed the border officer my hotel booking confirmation from a spam link in Australia and they had no issues with it. As long as your name is on the reservation and the address matches what you put on your forms, you should be fine. I printed out the confirmation just in case, but they were okay even just glancing at it on my phone.
So interesting. So CBSA officers are dumb as you show them a booking in a booking in Australia?
