It's through automated phone system, I called they said we are reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements...
And stated date application was received as Feb 24 2025 which is accurate
Probably wrong information from them! On eligibility review
Based on Processing times your application will take to process till feb 2027.

I have been following this thread for a while now...
Please when likely do eligibility review starts in this process.
Submitted Feb 24 2025
Currently between 1-2 years but given the reduced quotas will likely be longer. Significant reform to this program must happen given the volume of applicants and limited quota.

@canuck78 does it what they supposed to do right now? Before doing all other assessments they should check someone’s eligibility and do the rest later. This more makes sense for them to reduce backlog as well. Can you please validate if I am not wrong.
Unsure how they will reform H&C but IRCC will likely have to limit who can apply.

Does anyone please have contacted MP about CSQ application?
Hello Taweda!

I hope you are doing well.

I believe we are in the same boat—we are still waiting for the CSQ.

I called MIFI about a month ago, and they were processing applications received in August 2024. I've called three times, and the answer is always the same: H&C cases take more time. We submitted our paperwork in September 2024 and are still waiting.

Have you called them? What did they say?

Think you need to ask what the processing times for CSQ for just H&C applications.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Stopping a deportation order in Canada can be very difficult, but there are still some options you might explore:
  1. Judicial Review (Federal Court Appeal) – You can apply for a judicial review of the refusal of your Pre-Removal Risk Assessment (PRRA) or Humanitarian & Compassionate (H&C) application. A Federal Court judge will review whether the decision was fair and lawful. You must act quickly because there are strict deadlines.
  2. Deferral Request – If you have new humanitarian reasons or risks that were not considered in your H&C or PRRA application, you can ask the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to defer your removal while you pursue other legal options.
  3. New H&C Application – In rare cases, you may be able to submit a new H&C application, but it will not automatically stop your deportation.
  4. UN Complaint (If Applicable) – If your deportation would violate international human rights agreements, you may be able to file an urgent complaint with the United Nations.
  5. Seeking a Stay of Removal – If you apply for a judicial review, you can also request a stay of removal, which temporarily halts your deportation while your case is being reviewed.
Given the urgency, you should contact an immigration lawyer immediately to explore your legal options and file the necessary applications.

I think to refuse the application they call people to CBSA office. Some people said they have called to come CBSA office and stayed silent after that.

Thank you can judicial review temporary stop the deportation order. From the decision they gave me it shows it was taking on the 8th March. How many days do I have to file for judicial review ?
