Question about BLS appointment for passport surrender

On this page, there is a field for passport number, would that be the Canadian passport number or the Indian one?

You are surrendering Indian passport so the Indian one.

Any passport# will work, BLS center main you have to take both the original passports...

If you have already become a Canadian Citizen and received your Canadian Passport. You MUST enter your Canadian Passport details into the appointment system, NOT the Indian one. Just attempted this with Indian Passport today and was rejected and told to make another appointment.

When I applied it was Indian Passport for surrender and Canadian Passport for OCI.

We got denied at the counter because the Indian passport number was used to book the appointment. Such rudeness there holy moly. No humanity at all.
