i fear her parents might kill us, if we get married there. I have a permanent job here and I cannot visit her too. I think our life will be in danger if we marry there
You can try applying under conjugal, yes. You will have to explain the circumstances. If during the process you can marry somewhere, all the better, you can advise IRCC of the marriage. You should expect that a conjugal application will take longer/be subject to scrutiny.
usually for conjugal they expect their to be an 'immigration barrier', i.e. a refusal to come to Canada for a visit (because if she came to Canada you could just get married when she visits). So she should apply for visitor visa (and if not refused, well, she comes and you get married).
You should face up to fact though that at some point she will have to submit documents and leave the country, and that is a step that may be difficult without the parents finding out.
