Given your experience so far, do you think it's possible to solve all these things online? I'm 5 hours away by car from any office. After you receive the confirmation, how much time do you have to leave the country? All these steps seem very complicated.:( Thank you

Withdraw your application with IRCC is online and the form you can collect thru postal mail also. With CBSA also there's an online procedure by postal or fax. Obviously online process will be time consuming.
In my case aggressive follow up has taken around 35 days.

I have a few more questions if you don't mind. From the updates you gave, I understand that they told you how many days you have to get your ticket. Are there any conditions under which you are allowed to fly? Do you have to consult with them to get your ticket?

This post may help of you haven't seen it. Some of the conditions include that you cannot transit through certain countries: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/please-help-me-the-process-and-timeliness-of-refugee-withdrawl.867757/#post-11033994

Here's the next update:
1) Went to airport and as suggested by CBSA officer met the airport info desk. They asked me to come at the exact time as specified in departure form.
I waited for the time and went again. After few minutes officer came and he escorted through the clearance. Since there is some time for boarding he suggested me to eat or drink anything. He took my number and left the place stating he will come before boarding time. At the boarding time he came and bypassed the que and handover the passport to the crew team.

2) The airline crew stated that they will give the passport at Hyderabad. I have to sign few docs.
3) Since mine has a connecting flight itinerary, after the plane landed, I went and met crew member. He escorted me to pass through the clearance and handed over the passport to immigration officer.
4) I waited there at the immigration lounge and the team again escorted me to onboard my destination flight. He handed over passport to airline crew team.
5) At the final destination, the crew member escorted me and handed over to immigration officer. He took the passport and I have to wait for 30 minutes.
6) After that immigration officers asked me several documents and questioned, I have to explain them why I took asylum and why with drawn.
Please note: If anyone take asylum on country sensitive issues it will be serious issue and you need to follow different procedure. Since mine is related to finance issue after careful scrutiny they gave the clearance.
7) The immigration officer completed the port of entry process and stamped the passport with deportation and handed over the passport to me.

Overall it's an hectic and high tension process. It took me around 40 days from the start of application with draw to returning back to home country.

Final point: Refugee process is painful, either getting citizenship or returning back to your home.
