Hello @Miss bee

The company I currently work for (which is the parent company) is dissolving & they are moving all employees to the subsidiary company. I have already submitted my application to IRCC under OINP Master Graduate Stream (no job offer) with a nomination extension (since my application was returned earlier coz of missing documents and my nomination had expired). My title in the new company is slightly different than the current one but lies in the same TEER, Broad occupational category, Major, sub-major and even the minor group (only last digit changed). I haven't gotten the AOR yet so what should I do?

Do I need to inform the province even if the nomination was not employee restricted?
@Miss bee would really appreciate an input for this

Yes if you have non express entry application, you can create new profile and apply for express entry under CEC or other categories. If you get invited you can apply for express entry as well . Note you have to pay fees agains and provide all documentation again for express entry application.

hi @Miss bee when you mentioned that i can create a new profile and apply for express entry, does this mean a new account? a new gckey login? asking cause i tried creating a new application for express entry using my existing gckey account and it is not allowing me to create a new express entry application because it was saying i already have an in progress application.

The processing time at the time of your application (11 months) was just an estimate based on past cases, and it isn’t a guarantee. If IRCC has now updated the estimated processing time to 21 months, that means newer applications are generally taking longer, but it doesn’t necessarily mean your case will take that long.

Since you passed medicals in October 2024, the next major stages are eligibility, criminality, and security checks. You may receive a request for additional documents (if needed) or a portal request (if approved) at any time.

To estimate your timeline, count from your AOR date (August 28, 2024):

• 11 months estimate: July 2025

• 21 months estimate: May 2026
Your application could be completed anywhere in this range, depending on workload and complexity.
thank you for your detailed response, I feel more relaxed now. I hope for a favorable response from IRCC

Hello @missbee, thanks for all your support
What is the estimated timeline to receive PR card after eCOPR
My daughter; inland received her eCOPR on the 14th of February. On the 19th February, an update of her address was requested, which was sent immediately
When should we expect the card in the mail? Cos she is planning to travel soon and she does not have a visa

Hi Everyone, I have an issue linking my application to GC Key.

While adding the application, I got a bad gateway error 502. After that when I tried linking it again, it says the application has already been linked. But it's been 3 days and the application is still not showing up in my submission list.

Has anybody else encountered this issue and how did you get it resolved?

Hi @Miss bee,

Our work permit extension has been approved till 2027 June. My sons passport will be expiring in September 2026. We will being applying for a new passport in June this year and should receive in the same month. We will use his new passport probably in June 2026, to extend his visitor visa in order to match our new work permit timeline of June 2027, if we do not receive PR by then.

My wife is also planning to apply for a new passport, even though her passport is only expiring in 2028, as she will not be going home for a while.

In these situations, must i inform IRCC of my son and wife, second passport? even though though we have not received PR yet and their current passports will be still valid during the process of the PR application?

Appreciate your feedback.

Hi @Miss bee-Thank you for always clarifying my queries. I need your expert advice once again.

I applied for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) and a study permit for my child in the last week of November, but we have not received a response yet. Now, my child has received an offer for an undergraduate program and needs to apply for a post-secondary study permit.

Should I apply separately for his post-secondary study permit, or should I send a webform to IRCC with the university offer letter, referencing the existing BOWP application? Please advice.

You have to create another account to create express entry profile. It won't allow you to create with your current account.
