Has anyone have had any issues with their medical? It's something we don't usually think about but I recently came across a group discussion where people were talking about how they received procedural fairness letters because of their medical exam. It's scary!!
Don't read up too much on this. Being sponsored by spouse/common law partner, you are exempt from excessive demand due to medical.

No update. Its not our turns yet I assume. June applicant started to get ghost updates. Hopefully we are not very far
hopefully it wont be any longer for July applicants as most of the July applicants have gotten their medical, BIL and eligibility done. "fingers crossed"

Hello Folks!

Need your thoughts and advice on two things.
Above is my timeline.

1. PA did not get a request for Medicals but the status turned completed in the tracker early last week. Is this pretty common? PA is currently on her work permit.

2. I (Sponsor) recently joined a new job. No gaps in between my previous and current job. Should I notify IRCC?
If yes, how should I do it?

Thanks in advance. Appreciate your insights here.

Did the PA complete an immigration medical exam in Canada within the last 5 years? There's an exemption for that, and IRCC can automatically find previous medical results.

No need to notify IRCC about the new job. They will ask for updated info if they decide to re-evaluate your eligibility at random.

No, I believe the last time when PA gave the medical exam it was back in 2018.

Yes, they have recently extended the policy for some more time. So the baseline is if they do not ask, you don't need to give. In my case, I was also given medical in September-October 2019, and my medical just recently got cleared without asking for a new one.

Anyone who has yet to receive their MIL ( medical request). Particularly , last week of july application date?. I have seen a number of post regarding receiving medical request/update last week and this week for july inland applicants. I have not received mine yet. Only BGC and medical left.
