I hope this helps. Since you have already applied for work permit extension, you can def. work until the decision is made. As for the Spousal Work permit, you have to wait until AOR then only you can apply for SOWP. This link has instructions on how to apply for SOWP...

Just another update received P1 email. Responded back with all the info.

Got a ghost update today on Tracker COPR is updated there. And Final Decision - December 4, 2024 on GCkey. Applied on March 18th, 24

If you are applying OWP under Spouse Sponsorship, consider it as a new application. And fill it according to the instructions given on the guide. I had a OWP, but when I applied for OWP under Spouse Spon. I have followed the instructions.

I did called IRCC to ask about the updates, the lady said it can be a system error, and there were no updates on my file.

I have not sent any webforms, but I did called twice and the update is not even for the date I called. Hopefully something got updated. I am only waiting for the security check in background check to start.

Have you got any update on tracker? I got few updates saying We received your enquiry but I never enquired on the dates given on it.

I have an update on PR Tracker after June yesterday “we have received your enquiry” it is there on different dates 5 times, does any one has seen such update on trackers as well?

I think there is no rule that you cannot change the job. But I guess you have to let IRCC know about any changes. I am not 100% sure on this one.
