I did called IRCC to ask about the updates, the lady said it can be a system error, and there were no updates on my file.

I think there is no rule that you cannot change the job. But I guess you have to let IRCC know about any changes. I am not 100% sure on this one.

That is AIP (approval in principle). You will have to wait for sometime for next steps. Is the background check completed?

You can apply for OHIP with AIP (eligibility letter), that too if you go to a full service location of Service Ontario.

The thing is My work permit is going to expire in Oct and so my OHIP, and we are expecting a baby in December. I have applied for another work permit as I cannot renew the one I have as it was PGWP. I have received WP-Ext and got an extension of 6 months on that. Any idea if I can renew my OHIP...
