Hey guys. Wife received photo resubmission request. New photos received 17 Nov. Just today her application was updated with the approval. Best of luck.

My spouse's photo resubmission received Nov 14th, so I guess we shouldn't expect to hear before another month or so.

We got a request for new photos for spouse. We ONLY received it via mail, no email or update on mycic. Worst yet the letter was dated November 6. Just a heads up for people regarding photo requests. My application was approved yesterday too (email about an update o mycic only).

MyCiC is unfortunately the only way. You could call them up not sure if they're able to update you. Don't be put off by the waiting time sometimes it's cut when people drop off the queue. Typically people see changes approximately 7-10 days before the 61 days mark. I think you should be fine IF...

Called them, they apologized for the mistake and said it's just an internal matter which they'll correct, it doesn't affect my PR card in any way since passport number is not written on it. And just today we received a request for new photos for my wife!

So just now my application got updated and it is approved. No update on wife's application though still. Landed 14 September. HOWEVER, under the document status where it mentions the card's number and expiry date, it incorrectly shows my wife's passport number under "Travel document number"...

Landed Sep 14. Still no update for me nor spouse. Good to see people who'd landed around that time already getting their cards approved. Hopefully will hear soon.

Thanks! That is very comforting. Hope to hear from others who's done this recently in particular. Everywhere official you read you can only pass with a PR card; airports and land crossing alike.
