I submitted Birth cirtificate from Indian embassy which is based on passport information and cic does not recognize that as proof of birth. they have asked me to submit a affidavit using the secondary school certificate.

Can somebody help! My non express PR application was returned by CIC due to incomplete Birth certificate information. Now, when I resubmitt my application can I use the same application or I have to create a brand new one? any suggestion?

thank you @Miss bee . CIC returned my application because I didn't provide one of the above for birth certificate. it seems other people where able to have their returned application reconsidered by CIC, Do you know the process? who to call or email?

Hi @bravozora @Miss bee in my case do you recommend to call CIC and request to reconsider my original application and if I could send them Senior Secondary school certificate as birth certificate? what is the phone number for CIC?

@Priyal@01 what was your reason for the application return? btw, PNP extension timeline for AAIP is within 30 days. Hoping they will do it faster than that..

I don't have birth certificate. So, I requested birth certificate from Indian embassy and attached that to the application. Seemingly CIC doesn't accept that. However, they do accept Senior secondary certificate instead.. it would have been so easy if they had mentioned it in the application...
