Exact same thing with me. Everything is passed for my spouse but for me only the BC is still in progree and I called IRCC and agents said the exact same thing. Its with third party and we dont know when it will be comeplete. Its been 14 months for me since we filed our application.

Wow, I have no intent of taking them to the court. It will come when it has to. I will wait it out, although it is frustating wait. But thanks for sharing the information.

If you read the news today, it states they are laying off close to 3000 IRCC employess, which does not sound good to me either. I think it if unfair to process other application by 3 months and let other applicants wait for no reason. Absolutely no reason.

Well, I called the agent a month or two ago and they said the BC is in progress and the waittime is undetermined. My spouse has everything competed and for me the last update I received was two weeks ago as prohibition completed and BC still says in progress! I dont know what I should be doung...

I got an update that the prohibitions were completed. Still stuck on the background check. Anybody in similar situation where the BC takes forever? when was it likely resolved?

Anyone waiting for background check to be completed? I wonder why it is taking so long I called and the agent told me its indefinite wait for that.

I am in the ame boat as well. Feb 12th application sent and for my spouse everything is completed. But for me everything is completed except Backgrouhnd check and Prohibitions. Not sure what to do. My office is SCR.
