I hope that’s the case. I would argue that they would want to give hope to the other few hundred thousand applications that have become eligible since 2020 and capture their vote. For our sake, I hope I am wrong.

how do you know they plan to draw from the current pool next year? They could just say we are opening a new round of applications, next year is federal election.

That’s the number I calculated too. Odds aren’t too bad but have been waiting for so long now.
