You have to link it yourself in your GCkey account, either through UCI and family name, application no., etc. Just scroll down in your GCkey and click Link existing application and select PR card

You need to reply to the email itself with the details requested then they would send a second one with your login credentials to a portal where you can confirm your address and upload a recent photo. It took a day for others to receive their login details, for me it took around 4.

Yes, they're way faster. My classmate applied last March 2023, and he got his approval from Calgary 2 weeks ago! He received his portal email a day before he got his GCMS notes.

Yes, Montreal was my VO per my GCMS notes last May, but the portal email I received comes from Calgary. Idk; maybe they moved the applications.

Me too; I also stopped expecting and just checked the tracker out of habit while making my coffee... and voila! Hopefully, things will be seamless from now on. I haven't applied for BOWP since I got an 18-month extension for my PGWP last April.. but I hear that you should apply for your BOWP...
