I think this makes sense as well. However, I will also draft a letter of explanation and if possible an employment letter from my most recent employer as the employment gap wouldn't be much higher from the end of my contract to the OCI application. The 10 days processing seems to be the fastest there.. Got my passport exactly a week from application. I don't understand the logic LOL but I can't complain. :D

Haha yes. I initially booked an appointment with a non-passport office and with your advice, I cancelled it and walked into an actual Passport Canada. So thanks to you! :)
