You are right! I called after oath and my certificate was printed the day before the oath. Yet my file was closed a week after oath and certificate wasn’t mailed. I still haven’t received certificate yet. Now getting to 4 weeks. So I think it depends on the office and the officer.

I called the call centre 3 times. Each time a different story. One told me the certificate was mailed and today the other said, it hasn’t been mailed yet. Their information is not consistent. It’s just another waiting game.

I had my oath on March 15 and as at now no certificate. I requested for expedited processing with evidence. I called today and it’s not even printed. My file was closed on March 22. I just give up.

Just maintain your file as it is. Everything is online these days. At the oath, tell the officer you want to change your mailing address for the certificate. They will even ask you anyway. That will be my advise for you.

That’s why you should have extra days more to the 1095 days. If you had that then don’t worry. Mistakes do happens. It’s all good.
