You mean to say that even on the first application your biometrics were not updated? If so, then you may not even received AOR email also on the first application

Did any Dubai applicant get PPR - The processing time was recently more that 300 days, now again reduced to 188 days. My application is more than 300 days old. still am waiting only

Contact them through web form , if still problem is not solved, then reapply. Because your UCI number should be same,. Then it will pickup all your previous data and biometrics.

Better to wait for biometrics update and then reapply again with change in purpose of travel if there is no update in current application. Applicants through GCKEY are more satisfied then IRCC. GCKEY has quicker response.

The documents with which I applied are no more valid. My visa is already expired. I am wondering, that will they ask for new documents or will process with the old ones

I submitted my application in 2020. At that time vaccine was not required. My purpose of travel is tourism , therefore I cannot submit my application again, as they will not process it again and my application will be even further delayed
