Proof of funds for students visiting Canada along with parents

To all the folks who recently applied for visitor visa.

What proof of funds can we show for students?
For them there is no income, have a bank account but not much funds.
coming along with my parents who will take care of cost like flight booking. Once in Canada i have already mentioned that i will be taking care of food and stay.
So what proof of funds for student or explanation do we have to provide?

How old is the student? Do your parents have approved visas?

The student still has to show personal bank accounts, ties to country, travel history. You can write a letter of invitation saying you will take care of food and stay. It is up to VO to decide whether funds are enough. If the student doesn’t have income then show a short visit. If student has strong ties to country (school registration/paid tuition, job) and travel history then highlight that.

Parents are applying as well. we will be submitting proof that she is a student and pursuing a degree course, for which she has to come back. But after all this do we still have to submit her bank account?

How old is she? If over 22, she is separate from her parents and needs to submit her own accounts.
