I have the same case... Applied through GC KEY portal and primary reason given was for tourism... No movement on biometrics as well which was done on 14th Dec. Still waiting for some update

did you apply for tourism purposes? because I know people who applied for tourism purpose and they got in like 10 days. You can try from new portal which I am thinking if its not approved by end of this month
I know cases where the first application was rejected then reapplied as tourism approved in 10 days from new portal.... now I may be crazy after waiting since November in the new portal with a reason as "reunite with an immediate family member"
I agree... There are mixed reviews with some saying family reunion gets precedence over tourism. Either way it's still confusing whether to reapply or wait till 95 days of processing timeline shown for india application.. my fear is I don't want to reapply and set the processing counter to 0
i feel like november none of the applications are preferred ! let it be tourist or family reunion, approval rate is very low….i applied for parents and when i made application 45days was processing time, now its 95, i’ve already crossed 100days! still waiting n not reapplying ,just coz i cannot think abt sending my old parents to gather all updated documentsI agree... I recently heard from one of my friends who applied through a consultant, consultant told her that actually cic is processing a lot of applications quickly than before and it is slow only because of the number of applications
i totally agree with that…in our case also though its first time applying, by the time we came to know abt the new portal, gather necessary documents and clear all the doubts regarding tricky questions in the portal it was october end-november
I can't apply again. I will wait. I just want to get it approved. This is my second application after rejection, so I had to gather documents again. there isn’t any such waiting period, u can apply any time…but it would be good if you apply for gcms note n go through it to address the reasons for rejection so that u can have a stronger application

My application date is November 19th and Biometrics date is 10th December. After that no change in status. Hence, being prepared for everything.

gcms notes can be applied through certain companies, just google and c how to get gcms notes…hopefully u don’t need it n your application gets approved
