Does it matter if its expired? I am planning to get it renewed soon but just in case if my test comes before that, will they ask why I never renewed?

No, it does not matter. The only reason they need to see your passport is to check your travel history (visas, customs stamps, etc). They asked for photocopies of these pages in the original application but they must verify with the original travel documents. So it does not matter if the passport has expired. They will not care about it at all.

I see, I haven't received an email yet, just got a notification on the online application status tracker.

I am not able to register to the status tracker by using my UCI & Application no. - it says wrong UCI or wrong Application no. Someone else also faced this issue?

It took me 1-2 days after receiving AOR mail to be able to register online

Similarly , test invite notification on ECAS: March 8, 2022. Test window between March 11, 2022 and March 31, 2022. All items, but "ceremony" are still "In progress" and as of today, March 9, 2022 there is no official email with invitation and directions. Just - "Information and instructions will be sent to you. "
