Hi I applied Super visa for my Mother in the month of September 2021. Biometric Request Received in October. Biometric submitted in December ( Reason for delay "Did not get appointment at VFS"). Did not here anything after that, shall I wait or reapply again. Please help me as I'm planning to brings my parents this summer.

If planning in summer wait.. Did eligibility review start? If not you can re-apply. I re-applied they cancelled, because if any other application as eligibility ongoing then they dont consider any new applications.

That is strange...Has her medicals expired? Medicals are only valid for an year...

She did medicals on 30Sep2021, how come expired. Both mother and father did same day. Only hers does not reflect. I informed Clinic, they said its all good and they sent email to IRCC regarding mothers medical. But no progress yet. yes weird case.

Hello, I applied for my parents supervisa through new portal in Nov 2021. Their biometric and medical done in Dec 2021. After that no updates. I am wondering, is there anyone who applied during same timeline via new portal and got the supervisa for their parents?

I did raise the webform and they replied saying due to COVID things are slow. It is really frustrating. I was so excited when I came to know about the new portal and that ppl are getting visa within 6 weeks. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

there is a separate thread for nov 2021 applications, its seen that for past 2 days nov applications are getting approved, latest was nov 8 application getting ppr, hopefully all nov applicants will get decisions this month

VFS has returned my mother's passport by stating that it's damaged, but I cannot see any damage on this, please suggest what should i do now.

Hello all,
I wanted to apply for Super visa, as I want my parents to stay longer for about 1.5years.
They already have Visitor Visas (and visited me a few years back for less than 2 months) but its expiring in August-2024.
In this case, if i apply for Super visas, they will just grant me the visas until the expiry of the visas right (In case they grant)
Is there any possibility to get visas with longer validity?, or they only approve visas until the passport expires?
Let me know.
