Hello! I received a non-LMIA job offer from a Canadian employer (I qualify under a free trade agreement.) I have a Job Offer number. Now, how do I get my work permit? Do I apply for one via Canada Immigration website? Or do I show up at the POE and request one from an agent?

What FTA? You will follow the directions as outlined for the FTA with NOC showing matching education and work experience to do the job. You should be able to enter at a POE and officers will decided if you meet the requirements.

Thanks. It's Under Canada-Colombia FTA.

The Canadian employer has submitted the job offer and I have a job offer number. Do I simply show up at the POE and hope to be allowed entry?

Assume you have a visitor visa. You should be able to. Don’t know your NOC but your NOC needs to be covered under the agreement. You will need to show that your education and work experience matches the employment letter and NOC. CBSA determines if you meet the criteria under the FTA.

The NOC quailifies under the agreement. Can get a visitor's visa. But to whom do i show that my education and experience match the NOC and letter? I do not need a work permit in advance, correct? I arrive at the POE with the visitor's vias and job offer and present them to CBSA? Correct?

Apply for a work permit with the job offer and number. Your application will include your references, degrees etc. This will give you a visa to enter Canada too. IRCC will determine your eligibilty.
