Is there a reason why you applied for daughter's study permit this early?
If she plans on doing masters, wait until she finishes BSc and gets admitted to a Masters program in Canada, then submit study permit application. I am not sure that without these proofs she would be approved at all, so better withdraw it now. Otherwise she will have to explain in future applications why she was refused.
My employer helped me through the applications, and they suggested that I raised study permits for both daughters.

I have applied for wife's OWP and daughters' study permits as dependents. I am the main applicant. All four applications were initiated together from my account.

In IMM1249e, my employer has mentioned that her school is to be determined and expenses will be borne by parents. I am attaching a snapshot of the application - please check. I have asked my employer for advice, I will get it by Monday.

Ok. She needs to be admitted to a Canadian University/College (DLI) in order to be eligible for a study permit. Right now she is not eligible and her application will be rejected. See this link:

That is usually ok for children attending elementary or high school because school location is dependent on where you eventually live. For someone attending post secondary education you certainly need admission from a school before applying for a study permit.

Yes, it very clearly says so.

Thanks. I will check with my employer and if they too say the same, will withdraw the application.

I found this link - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/minor-children.html

This says - "
Outside of Canada
Minor children who want to study in Canada must apply for a study permit before they enter Canada. This includes minor children who come with parents who already have a valid study or work permit.

Minors coming to Canada with parents who have a valid study or work permit don’t need to provide a letter of acceptance from a school when applying for a study permit."

And age of minority in British Columbia is 19 -

Province or territoryAge of majority
Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan18
British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Yukon19

My daughter will turn 19 on 15-Sep-22: so I think she won't need to provide a letter of acceptance.

But you need to read further in the links as this applies for minor children in pre-school, elementary or secondary. Your child is in post-secondary. She is a minor (most kids in Canada begin post secondary as minors) but needs admission to a post secondary, pay fees and then submit study permit.

This doesn't apply to your daughter.

This is only for those studying at the primary or secondary school level. She is studying at the post-seconary school level.

Again, she would need to apply for a study permit separately after she is accepted into a specific university or college program in Canada. The school cannot be blank for a post-secondary school study permit.

Your daughter doesn’t even plan on studying in Canada so even if she got a WP it would get cancelled when she didn’t attend school for her bachelors degree. She should really be applying for a TRV because she intends to study in India and not move with you to Canada.

I have received the following response -

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

A note has been added on file to notify the responsible office that you wish to withdraw your application. The office will determine if the application can be withdrawn and will issue a refund within 16 weeks of the withdrawal, if applicable.

If you have submitted your application with family members and you are the principal applicant, the office will also withdraw their applications.

Please note that the decision to withdraw an application is definitive, and that a new application will require the applicable fees.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

Sincerely,
Does this mean that my daughter's application will be withdrawn and not rejected? And she won't face any problems in future.

Regards

It looks as if your application as principal applicant has been withdrawn too because your daughter was a dependant on the file and didn’t have a separate application. Others can comment but you may need to reapply again.

This mail was addressed to my daughter. And I gave her Client ID number and File Number; so I hope they have withdrawn only her application.

Enquiry:
I applied for study-permit along with my father's work-permit. I have decided to continue with my graduation in India and won't accompany my parents and younger sister. I want to withdraw my application, please help with it. Regards Daughter's name
I hope -

1. It won't affect other applications.
2. I don't want refund, but her application shouldn't be refused/rejected because she didn't attach letter of acceptance from a DLI.

Do I need to do anything else to ensure these?

Regards

Today I got PPR for my wife, younger daughter and myself. And withdrawal confirmation for my elder daughter.

Now she will apply for visitor visa once she is there.
