So it seems there are many who have background as “ application in progress ..”

And I think we are the last few from the lot who have to wait for this to change back to processing and then our PPR should be quick hopefully!

I check my application daily like many of you with the hope to see a GU where background would have changed back to processing !

I wish we all get good news very soon

Just got the portal email today.

12.02 Medical passed (Old medicals from 2019)
12.03 Medical passed -> You do not need a medical exam
12.15 Medical passed again

*Single, inland, Canadian education and work experience
*It seems like old medicals are taking longer than newer medicals to process
*Used home country police cert from 2016, went back in 2018 & 2019 (1 month & 3.5month) - wasn't asked to provide a new one - I got a new one recently and ended up not using it
*Also lived in two other countries, each <6months, wasn't asked to provide police cert either
*I'm not sure but I think they didn't contact my company

AOR Sept 3rd, medical updated Oct 4th, biometric updated Oct 20th. No update after that. Background check not yet started. I’m in Toronto, not sure about the visa office. I applied for GCMS notes 2 weeks ago- waiting on that.

One week. I just got my husband's (dependent) PPR request 2 hours ago!

Congratulations, can you help me in knowing if you receive emails or updates in Portal/GCKEY after the second time pass medical(expired) pass shown on your profile, also what is the status on your eCOPR?

Received this mail which says "We successfully received your document for EXXXXXXX"
We got your document. Thank you!.
Checked the account and there was an Application profile/updated but no changes.
ADR for schedule A form was submitted on 9th Jan and the status was changed to "Not Applicable" till today.

@GandiBaat Hope you're doing good.
Did you also receive this mail? When you got the last GU did you call the client desk and then got the confirmation mail or got later?

BGS as "in progress" is considered as complex file.
I have submitted new medical
Only one employer
No extensive travel
Came to Canada as 17 year old yet I submitted PCC and RCMP upfront
and they consider my case as "complex".

I called client desk and got the confirmation mail after 1 hour. I asked them about my statuses (Eligiblity/Crim/Security).

It may or may not be the signal. I had fairly old med in 2017. I got through the process. It took about 5 months.

I called client desk and got the confirmation mail after 1 hour. I asked them about my statuses (Eligiblity/Crim/Security).

Thanks for your quick response. I got a GU around 12 PM EST now.
Was thinking of calling client support or maybe I should wait till today.
