I am trying since 2 days and not able to book any appointment. How long does it take to actually find a date and time slot? Also, the letter for biometrics mentioned it should be done by Mar2nd but what if there are no dates available before that ?

Hello , I am from Seattle. I am also trying to book the biometics appointment at seattle location and I am getting the same error. Are walkins allowed? If so, at what time we should go there to give the biometircs.
YES, I did walk in this Tuesday. I have tried to make appointments for like 2 weeks but cannot make it. I know how it is frustrating. I decided to try walking in, and eventually, it's runs very smoothly. The safety guard just let me enter the office after seeing my biometrics instruction letter.
Please update after your visit about timing and if you know the timing of USCIS Seattle location. I have to take my parents and I have 2.5 month old baby so it would be great if I can plan noon time.
I am also getting the same error since last few days specific to Seattle and a few others in WA. Can I walk in directly like mariobar said? I am not sure what else to do, as the USCIS number is answered by a Robo and disconnects after repeating the same options/answers. Submitted webform on https://www.cic.gc.ca/ using contact us but the response time is 28 days which is way beyond the 30 day deadline,
My questions are: Anyone who visited recently at Seattle USCIS by just walk-in with the biometrics letter, and did they ask anything? or they just let you in and took the biometrics? Any pointes will be helpful as we are going with 2 kids, and don't want to get stuck or face awkwardness.

We walked in yesterday ~ 8 AM and the security personnel said he can let us in and turned us away as we didn't have the appointment letter. I tried to explain but he showed me the door to exit and go out. We came out and started to talk and were discussing what to do next? and the same security personnel who turned us away from a few min ago called us. When we went back, one of the office staff (guessing supervisor) spoke to us and she asked for our biometrics letter. We have shown and she asked us to get in. It took hardly 15 min as there was nobody inside the biometrics. It was a story with a twist.
Eventually, we were able to give our biometrics. Thanks to this forum and the people who helped us with the info, we were able to go and get this done.

I just visited today around 10:45 AM with my wife. The security personnel asked for the appointment and documents. I informed him I don't have an appointment for the Seattle office but do have an appointment for the Yakima office. He saw the documents and allowed us to go inside. After security check inside, it hardly took 10min. There was no line.
