That is not the other way round my brother...Accra Visa Office don't understand family. They say that just to dissuade people socially on their platform and am sure most of them doesn't have families because if they do, they will put themselves in the shoes of others.

On the contrary, why there is the delay is because you have a kid on your application and usually that takes long. So i will encourage you to stay and hang in tight, good news is coming.....Sorry for your lost.

But on the otherhand, if God has opened the door, I promise you they can't delay you in anyways since he makes all things beautiful in his time...

So go to Him and ask for approval first and let's see what these humans can do...

Am actually a failed Refugee claimant , I lived in Canada for 3yrs b4 I was asked to leave the country and I did . Got back to my country of origin back in 2018 and ever since it has been kinda stagnant in terms of the outland sponsorship application my wife submitted on my behalf , in 2019 I went for an interview in Accra and the consular that interviewed wasn't confused that our marriage as at the time I was in Canada wasn't genuine enough after I went in for the interview with all the clear cut evidences and our marriage certificate which was issued in Ontario.
Àfter the negative outcome we decided to Appeal and it came out negative again , so we decided to give them a break for like a year while we try to work on some other variable options.
After the long break my wife now decided to put through another Outland sponsorship application in 2021 and that's what we waiting for at the moment and it's been pretty hectic but we thank God for He's been good to us with opportunities of meeting in some other countries and my wife had been to my country on two different occasions, so I really don't understand why they can't see that the love is for real and our marriage is genuine.

I still see some errors on your part
1.If you said you claim you returned to your country of origin then it means you are a Ghanaian and on a more serious note....Ghana is not among the countries that could claim refugee on immigration grands because according to Canadian law, Ghana is not part or among those countries
2.I think is too early on your part because there have been some red flags on your name and UCI number over the years so all your files will need a review seriously
3. If you file from ghana then it would have been better if you obtain your marriage certificate from ghana unlike when you were in Canada and used your Canadian marriage certificate.

Whichever, keep trusting and give time....Time will answer and this time, they will give it to you but they will have every document that has ever been on your file...Usually, files like your are assigned ro the experienced officers to deal with so.....the longer your miracles takes, the greater it will be when it arrives!! This Accra office is something else just to stamp my passport is taking half a year, currently am done with my school program in Nigeria and i was hoping to get my passport back soon so i can go back to Ghana and prepare before moving to Canada but am yet to receive my passport back from them i have tried calling but no response from the VFS or Accra VISA office now am stock in Nigeria because i don't know when i will get my passport back so i can go back home. i have sent a mail and also called VFS many time but i still get same response from them that my application is at the high commission for processing the most annoyed part is the Accra visa office is not responding to mails and calls if they don't want to give me the visa they should give me back my passport let me go back home because am stock in another man's country

Am not a Ghanaian, am a Nigerian and I travelled to Canada from South Africa. I was with a Work Permit while living in SA and I left during the xenophobic attack on foreigner in 2015 from SA to Canada . I only went from Nigeria to Ghana for interview at the Canadian consulate in Accra .

My wife is a Canadian born and Canadian raised , she's a white woman and born and raised out there . Met her while I was in Canada and we lived together for like a year and half after our wedding.

So why don't you leave where you are now if it is Nigeria I believe and you and your spouse should do this thing....both of you should email the Accra office ACCRAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and webform for a change of address so you come to ghana and when ready the call you from there.....

Your spouse must put in the webform all your file number, UCI, receipt if he has it, your name and new change of address, date of birth etc....they will work on change of address fast so you come live in ghana while you wait for them

Why should I move to Ghana if I may ask ???? I don't have any family out there and I never thought of relocating to Ghana, but if I have to go in for interview at the Canadian embassy out there in Accra then I can take a trip down .
Am just hoping to hear from them soon and let me know our next line of action. My wife is Canadian and am a Nigerian and she has been here in Nigeria two different times and our last meeting was in Dubai just November 2021 for my birthday.

Yes, you made the first mistake .....Nigeria is not also on the refugee list so for you to claim refugee is a no go area and a red flag so you have allowed them to put strick eyes on your file and applications....In Canadian history and immigration purposes, Nigeria is among the top strong nations economically, education and peace.....You may not have peace in your state but the greater good of Nigeria is big in Canadas immigration matters. This year, university of Ottawa has given scholarships to African students who are smart and mostly these are Nigerians and other African countries so there is no way you can claim refugee....so you messed up but God is good!! They will review the file back and forth between accra and the centralized offices that forwarded your file to accra.....They will share among different officers to review.....but there is always an end....and although your beginning was small, your later end shall be great....keep the hopes high!!

The only African country that can claim refugee are Sudan, Somalia and Zimbabwe(financial consequences) but they are all even getting of the refugee list gradually.....Nigeria is a peaceful land with good economy looking at the GDP

Come on bro.....it is the refugee claims and the officer then was not convinced you both were married genuinely that's why the first didn't happen so the files and documents with evidence submitted were not enough to convince and with the refugee claim....but like I said, don't worry!! Living with you married Canadian is a great deal but they take some things into consideration....how long were you both together before you married. Was it because of immigration purposes that why you married her? What shows that after getting the immigration you will still stay together as couples on and on.....


So all these questions comes into the mind of an officer during his review when the evidence are not enough
