Notify IRCC of update or will cover letter be good enough

Hey guys, so my wife is sponsoring me here in canada for PR.

She is currently unemployed but starting at her new job (paramedic) in april, we have included this in a cover note with our forms in the relevant part of the package as it asks if you the sponsor are employed or not. obviously..

Does anyone know if we should notify IRCC when she becomes employed again or would the cover letter explaining she will be in april, be our way of already notifying them?

Would send a webform with copy of her first pay stub or other form of proof that she has started working.

Sorry! i should of said that we have included a signed offer of employment letter from the base she will be at
