Hey guys, when you appy again for new portal, do you get medicals and biometrics done again or any follow up medicals requested by IRCC, or just upload the same again!!!!

A quick update from me:
My parents had applied on 2nd Feb using old IRCC portal (GCKey login). I was worried after reading posts on this forum that the application might be stuck. However my parents received biometric on 3rd Feb (next day). They did their biometric on 14th. They had already done upfront medical before submitting the application. On 21st Feb, received passport request. So it was super quick.

I’m still waiting medical passed in Jan 24 and same day they requested for updated notice of assessment , feb 16 they started reviewing it and now we’re waiting how long it takes to review the notice of assessment

Below is my mother's timeline fro Supervisa

VO New Delhi
17 Nov 2021 Applied via GC key
19 Nov 2021 Biometrics updated (did biometrics in 2021 August for tourist visa application applied in February 2021, no response for this application so decided to apply for Supervisa)

Since November we haven't received any communication from IRCC. We are not sure if we need to re-apply again or should we wait. I have seen here that many got PPrs (congrats to them) even if they applied in January or February 2022 but no news of 2021 Nov applications.

Please suggest what could be done (re-apply again or wait).

Thank you all and I pray for everyone's application and hope everyone could meet their parents soon in Canada as I know how hard it could be.

I submitted only current 2021 T4
My parents had a couple of Canada transit visas. When travelling from US to home, they had transited via Toronto a couple of times. So they had a UCI number and some history with Canada IRCC
Not sure if that helped in speedy determination

Third: 14Feb2022(they cancelled)

those all who are getting quickly either they had some travel history or prior visa.

But again Delhi processing is worst. No clue why the delay, as you said some exceptions i see who got visa in just weeks even though first applications. Those are lucky ones.

We just need to wait and see when this game will finish

I got letter from CPC, ottawa that application dated 25oct2021 is in process, so cancelling.

Then you should have heard by now.. All luck and fate here.

Yes you are right bro its all luck and fate at the moment. So for us the best bet is to wait for another one month or so before taking any other step.

There are many and including me who got request post upfront. once done medicals are valid for 12 months. So use webform and send to your processing office. I recommend send to IRCC canada as well as local visa office.

how to know if medicals has been uploaded within the timeline? My mother went for a medical examination on Feb 22 and the time line we have is until feb 28th to upload the medicals. But since this is an e-medical facility, not sure how we check status. If it gets delayed beyond that date our application will be rejected according to the medical request email
