Yesterday(Feb 21 2022) my husband who is a dependent applicant towards our CEC PR residing in India got his passport request.In the letter it is mentioned that he needs to send passport to vfs delhi only after the primary applicant(myself) received confirmation of permanent residence status). Today I have got the portal email saying PR application is approved.Is it considered as the confirmation of permanent residence status?or Do I need to wait until I get ECOPR? They have provided 60 days to submit the passport.I am not sure if we are okay to send it at this stage as I have received portal email confirming that the application is approved.Please help.

My worry: My spouse has sponsored me for spousal PR in Canada(AOR received).

I hold a valid work permit and TRV (visa valid till 2025) and deciding to go to my home country due to some important reasons.
Am I allowed to travel outside Canada (for few weeks) and return to Canada while my PR application is in process. I research on the same but there are ambiguous answers.

Please advise me, I really need your help. thank you

Your PR application has nothing to do with your travel anywhere across the globe. To re-enter Canada you will need a valid visa (unless you are from a visa-exempt country) and a permit. If you have these, you can enter Canada.

Hi, I got a ADR request for PCC, Schedule A, Updated Family form and updated travel history. Can you say if these docs are needed really for background check or eligibility? My AOR is AUG 2020, my eligibility was RR up to Jan 2022. Just wondering if this is a sign Eligibility passed.

I recently got my pr and about to land next month. After I land, I am thinking about applying for my parents visitor visa with family reunification terms and also mentioning the real reason for them to visit me to be to help me settle down and support me emotionally. I won't have a job most probably when i apply for them but my parents have good bank balance to sponsor their visit.

Now, there is a second option which is they are involved with an international charity organization. And this organization have international convention in different parts of the world. They are having the convention within next few months in Canada. So just like others they can also apply for visitor visa to take part in the convention.

Now, my question is which option would be comparatively better for them to have a greater chance to get their visit visa? thank you.

Recently I received Additional document request which asked me to upload proof of my house mortgage as client information.

The problem is my bank cannot provide an official letter of the mortgage. They can only print monthly payment information. What can I do?

My plan is to provide an explanation letter, monthly payment information, and attach pages from the original mortgage contract which have my signature and bank stamp. Will that suffice?

Also, the house mortgage is covered by provident housing fund. Do I have to show my provident housing fund account? The money in that account cannot be transferred but only be used for rent/house mortgage.

Technically IRCC can ask for any document again during the processing. However, if your eligibly, criminality, medicals and security have passed, then most likely you may only be asked to re-do the meds if they have expired, no other documents would be asked.

Once the stages are passed, they will remain that way unless IRCC detects significant change in circumstances, or there has been extraordinary time lapsed from when your documents were originally issued.

Hello Legalfalcon, does it mean even if criminality expired during the processing of application, there's a decent amount of chance IRCC won't ask for PCC again?
