Hello All

I have a valid PGWP and I have applied TRV online while being in Canada. The processing time shows 21 days

However I have to travel to India without the trv due to a situation

1. In this case, will the application continue to remain in process as per timeline?

2. Do I have to submit another TRV application once I reach India?

3. I have seen some people getting stuck for months without TRV which is also likely in my case - Right ?

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks

For those who have work/study permits are eligible to apply TRV using gckey old
Portal, new portal is for outlanders, this is what I came to know from IRCC consultant . We can apply again using same portal but not sure whether it will process fast or not!

I am waiting and many others from Dec Jan are waiting too.

Since the new portal was for applications made on GC Key before Sep 7th, I am sure they ignored all VV applications regardless of whether it was just a TRV or TRV from outside Canada

So since you have not gotten a decision yet, you can ask to withdraw the old application

Submit a fresh TRV again - on GC Key

It is worth a try in my opinion given how much time has passed and today a Feb 12th applicant got PPR on GC Key. Hence

Hello,

I lodged my first TRV Application last June 2021 and until now, eligibility has not started.
This February, the processing time has been reduced to 21 days so I decided to apply. My profile for my 2nd application is already in review. Last March 1st, I got a refund which I assume is for my first application in June 2021.
Anybody whose in the same situation? I’m not sure if I should withdraw my first application or just leave it as it right now.

thank you.
