Hi All,

My mom-in-law's application was approved and they requested for her passport to be sent for stamping. They sent an automated email saying that they have received her passport on Feb-10, 2021, but no updates after that. Is anyone else in the same boat? Its been a week and no updates from IRCC. We dont know what to do?
Country - India
Passport was sent through Mumbai VAC to Delhi VAC and is not with IRCC (as of Feb-10, 2022).

Please suggest.

You should get it back in the next week or maybe 2 if there are extra delays.

Good morning, could you please navigate me how we can send passport inside canada to stamp it as per my lawyer he said she can only got sticker in home country . She can not submit passport here . I am in too stree . Could you please let me know the whole process.

hai i applied super visa for my parents february 2022, biometric done feb7 . i applied through GCKEY portal.
i heard that the IRCC portal is faster.what should i do ?should i cancel the application and reapply in IRCC portal?
any suggestions please..

Be patient. Similar speed. Processing is 2-3 months for most in India.

i think both are fast, 2022 files getting done in average 1 week

1 weeks is very fast. They must have already had approved medical from previous application.

If my parents are visiting Canada under super visa (PG-1), do they need to have return tickets booked???
Saw some comments stating visitor visa holders need to show return tickets before boarding the flights.

No need to have return ticket on supervisa although doublecheck with your airline.

Does sending multiple webforms negatively affect the visa application processing? I submitted application on 9th Dec, biometric on 29th Dec and medical on 8th Jan. I sent multiple webforms to add medical report, but none of them work and every time I got the standard reply.

No doesn’t have a negative impact it just annoyed the VO and takes up their time versus processing applications. Medicals need to be reviewed and there is a backlog when it comes to reviewing medicals in cases where applicants aren’t young and in perfect health. For December applicants you are still within normal processing time. You should hear in February or March.

Hey everyone,
I applied for my mother in July, 2021. Received medical request December, 2021. Completed medicals last week and 2 days later for PPR email. Visa is approved.
My question is regarding the super visa insurance. Once she comes to Canada, will she be asked to show proof of valid on going insurance? I am thinking of changing the insurance that I had taken during the visa process to a different one. Can this be done without any issues?

Hi all,
Below is my timeline for my Parents Super Visa. Hope that will help someone.
Applied on old account in Dec 2020
Biometrics in 24hrs.
Offices were closed for collection so waited till Aug 2021 to reopen. Got updated on account in 2 days. Nothing after that.
Reapplied on new Portal: Oct 11, 2021
Got straight PPR on Jan 17, 2022
No additional information requested even the previous medical was expired in Dec 2021. My previous application was withdrawn 2 days prior to PPR.

Which one is new portal please? can you please send me link? Thanks

Totally agree. Am waiting since Mar2021, reapplied new portal 25Oct2021. Old application they withdrew on 29Dec. Still waiting. Next 2 months 1 year completes for supervisa. I think they are expecting me to submit a third one..

I am in the same boat, waiting for medical request for my parents. can I have them do medicals now (pre-medical)? If yes, do I raise a webform to submit their medical. Or will physical panel do it on my behalf?

I have made an online application with GCKey for super visa for my parents on:

Application Date : 14 Nov 2021
Biometrics request : 15 Nov 2021
Biometric completed : 16 Dec 2021

After that no update, so did upfront medical on

Medical done : 21 Jan 2021
Webform with Medical receipts : 27 Jan 2021

Today I got following response for Webform from DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca :
"
Dear Client,
Thank you for your email.

Once IRCC has received the medical results from the Panel Physician and biometrics results, they will be associated to your application. Please continue to monitor your MyCIC account.

Effective September 7, 2021, foreign nationals who qualify for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption may enter Canada for discretionary travel. Find out if you can enter Canada - Travel restrictions in Canada – Canada.ca

As of September 27, 2021, the Government of Canada has resumed direct flights to Canada from India. Visit our website to learn more about flights from India to Canada.

Passengers who travel to Canada from India via an indirect route need to obtain a pre-departure negative COVID-19 molecular test result from a third country before continuing their journey to Canada (https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/flying-canada-checklist/covid-19-testing-travellers-coming-into-canada?utm_campaign=gac-amc-covid-20-21&utm_source=travel-covid_travel-restrictions_flying_&utm_medium=redirect&utm_content=en#types).

thats what am receiving Since Oct2021 for my mothers webform reply from Delhi and till date they have not attached. I received medical request for her yesterday. my fathers was updated in Oct2021 only. I dont know if its backlog or whats the matter here
