I am happy so much if this is first step of success But indeed it means my profile was strong for visa Especially even they refused refusal reconsideration on third application on 7th Feb

They will reopen the case.
Thank you so much for responding. Once they re-open the case, how long does it take to issue an approval, assuming, cases which are reopened rarely get refused again?

Also, I know this is diff from case to case but are there any ball park estimates for timeline

I also want to know that since this depends on the trend at a particular time, its not always the same. Some cases get refused again, but several get approved. Since there are very few people who pursue a JR so we don't have a big chunk of data on our hands. A guy has been waiting for 3 months on this forum for his file to reopen after settlement.

Congratulations

What are the next steps now, acc to your lawyer? Would you please mind sharing
No lawyer. I did myself alone with previous experience for UK. I only paid 50CAD fees and all i did from Dubai Alhamdulilah but yes i spent arround 60 days for studied rules, regulations, articles, references and other data from federal court then i prepared 10 pages application for leave and Jr and memorandum etc. What i felt earlier i prepared my case better than a lawyer because lawyer don't spend much time on application especially when need references its required alot time to study. I am very happy at least i did alone with first step success. I hope it will be further successful step till get study visa, a dream basically was destroyed completely after 3 refusals and now i have hope for visa

Absolutely incredible !! you inspire many here who have been wrongfully denied. Thank you for sharing this and I can barely imagine how devastating this might have been for you and your family. More power to you. God bless

One lady from iran file was open in 30 days after settlement, and then next 30 days she got visa total time 2 months, on guy waiting since three to four months for reopen, thats only 2 cases on this forum available about settlement.

Overall 11 cases were found for judicial review final hearing stages from india, pakistan and middle east in which 2 ladies from UAE got success in final hearing and Judicial review was awarded but no news they got visa or not. Both these ladies time frame was 16 month and 9 months from start to judicial review granted.

One man from syria living in UAE got success in 14 months on final hearing in court.

8 cases were dismissed by judge on final hearing and there dreams completely ended for studying Canada.

In these 8 cases 3 cases was very very strong for final hearing in court but their lawyers mistakes they lost the cases as visa officer convinced the judges they are temporary immigrants in uae because UAE visa will be invalid after 6 months. If they contact me i surely win their cases.

On settlement only three cases here including me.

Ok. I have not heard of any that got refused after it got reopened. At least I do not have the data.

What I do know is that, in some case, there is a req for Additional docs depending on the nature of the visa application.

Ok this is a lot of data and thank you once again for sharing those insights.

I think the timeline is stretched if disputed in court however a settlement offer from IRCC is quicker.

on guy waiting since three to four months for reopen - This is to be seen. Do we know if these are all TRV's mostly ?
