Physical Presence Calculator: "Temporary Resident Permit Holder" or "Temporary Worker" for an open work permit?

Hi everyone,

I am filling the citizenship application for my wife. She was holding an open work permit before having her PR. In the Physical Presence Calculator, should I select "Temporary Resident Permit Holder" or "Temporary Worker" for this period?

I went with the "Temporary Worker" when I filled mine.

A TRP is a document that authorizes a person who is inadmissible or does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act or Regulations either as a temporary resident or as a permanent resident to enter or remain in Canada.

A work or study permit, or a Temporary Resident visa is not a Temporary Resident Permit. These documents are clearly marked as visas or work and study permits. TRPs are only issued in exceptional circumstance and at the discretion of the processing officer. A TRP may be cancelled at any time.

be very careful when you take in work permit days , ircc will use all their energy to verify them. One of the reason my file is in non routine. Try using less NPR days and more of PR days
