I was crazy enough to read through the whole document. Looks like a media request through ATIP. Can anyone request there? What have you written in the form to get these?

Anyone can make these requests. Its just that you'll have to word the request properly and that takes some trial and error. It also requires patience. I think it took me 5 months to get the recent records that the OP referred to. They take multiple extensions if the data you're requesting has to come from multiple sources. Compiling, redacting and reviewing those requests take time.

Does it make sense that after waiting months for the physical presence to be completed, now Prohibitions and background verification are back to in progress?

Never try to make sense out of their work processes cause you wont find any logic behind it. Just be happy that theirs a progression of your application, its moving forward but not in a limbo. I hope you get to see the end of this tunnel soon.

I agree, better to have some movement than nothing at all. @oyfili seems like your progress is steady, but yes its very frustrating. The background could have gone back into progress as it expired. So that triggered the prohibitions one too, that's what I suspect. You are close to DM. PS how was your interview with the IRCC officer? Was it a MS Teams discussion and can you share any insights? Thanks

hold your breath. you are getting there. ppl from 2019 are still receiving their OATH ceremony. be glad that you are not in a position like them or you don't have to go to your MP to know the status of your application which is one of the worst experience that anyone can have. i understand your frustration and it's ok.

Hey,
Does anyone here know the answer to this? - After the Oath, would we all have to fill out an application form online for the Citizenship Certificate? The online application for a Citizenship Certificate shows a wait time of 18-20 months! I'd go insane if I had to wait all over again!
