In the checklist for the spousal sponsorship application it asks for proof of contact if the sponsor and the applicant are not living together. It says: "Provide letters, printed text message, emails or social media conversations or other documented proof of contact between you and your sponsor. Provide a maximum of 10 pages"
I have two questions. First in the Canada immigration website, under "Evidence of relationship" this information has been asked under the common law partner relationship category and not the spousal relationship category (see the link below). I am not in a common-law relationship. The person I am sponsoring is my spouse to whom I am married. Should I still provide this kind of evidence (text or social media messages).

My second question is, if I should provide text or social media messages as evidence, can I provide copies of our WhatsApp conversations? If so. should I translate them into English? And should I translate them myself or should I ask a certified translator to do it? Thanks
