Received CoPR, will spouse added as non-accompanying(currently in Canada) receive PR?

Hi all,

I hope someone can answer my query.

Application Submission on 11th Nov 2020 with spouse as non-accompanying.
Spouse arrived Canada on Jan 2021 on Work Permit
Spouse added to my profile, requested IRCC to add her to the application as accompanying, paid PR fees for her on Feb 2021
CoPR received for myself on Nov 11th 2021 with spouse as non-accompanying

Application status for myself: Accepted and Closed
Spouse's status in PR application: In review with IRCC

Does this mean that my spouse's PR application is in process even if she is added to my profile as non-accompanying? Or will I need to apply for PR sponsorship for my spouse?

You will need to sponsor your spouse for PR separately.

Thanks for the reply!! So once you receive a copr with non accompanying status, that is a final decision.

Since the application started as non-accompanying and a final decision is made, the only option is sponsership? My spouse file will no more be processed under my application?
