Hi,

I need an advice from my fellow group members. I can apply for PGWP after 4 months. My wife and 02 daughters are outlander. What should be my strategy to bring them in Canada with minimum risk of visa rejection.

I'm applying for a closed work permit. Can i apply for an open work permit for my spouse and study permit for my kids the same time when I'm applying for my work permit?
Or i need to work 3-4 months then apply for them?

Whats the usual processing for SOWP now for inland applicants? Is 130 days on the website the most accurate?

Hi Guys i am planning to apply work permit from India along with Spousal open work permit too. I heard that if spouse is not working recently, chances of visa rejection is high. My wife is not working for the last 6 years (She used to work before that). Does it mean that her application has chance of rejection? Please share me your thoughts. Thank you!!

As long as you are the one applying for the WP and are in NOC 0, A or B. Do you have an LMIA?

Yes I am the one who is applying for WP and I do have LMIA. My NOC is category A. So does it mean that for SOWP my wife needn't be currently working? Can I show her previous employment records which was before 6 years ? Thanks once again for your response

Her work history isn’t important. Her approval is based on your approval and the NOC level of your job. Medical needs to be passed as well.
